Hocking Valley Canoe Livery offers many separate trips,
each
lasting from 2 hours to overnight! Whether it's a family day trip, a group
outing or just an excuse to get to know your friends again, a canoe trip
along the Hocking river is the perfect outdoor adventure. We also offer
kayaks, rafts and tubes for an enjoyable float on the river!

Hocking River Trip Guide-

So you have a
Saturday afternoon free? Grab a friend and come out to the Hocking
Valley Canoe Livery. Season and Hours of Operation are the
following:
Open From April 1 to Nov. 1
9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Open weekends or by appointment April, May,
September and October. Open daily June, July and August.
Trips depart on the hour starting at 9 a.m. with the last trip
departing at 6 p.m. All trips
must be in no later than 7:30 p.m. or late fee will be charged.

1. Canoeing and cookout of your
choice featuring
BBQ Chicken.
2. Moonlight and
Torchlight Canoe Trips. Reservation required. Enjoy a
romantic trip with a bonfire, marshmallows and entertainment at the
end of the trip.

groups over 50 canoes, and consideration is given for weekdays and

What should you bring for your
trip? Here are some suggestions-
- Change of clothing
- Trash bag to protect things you
wish to keep dry
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- T-shirt
- Shorts
- Old Wading Shoes
- Sun Block and insect repellent.
- Cloth Cooler with strap (do not
bring glass items)
- Snacks or picnic items
Hocking Valley Canoe Livery is not
responsible for lost or stolen personal items! STYROFOAM COOLERS NOT
ALLOWED.
We will
provide a personal flotation device (PFD), a paddle, complementary
transportation and use of picnic areas with your rental.
A personal Floatation Devices (PFD) should be worn at all times
while canoeing, kayaking, tubing or rafting at Hocking Valley Canoe
Livery. Children 10 and under and anyone who cannot swim must
wear their PFD at all times.
