Hocking Valley Canoe Livery and Fun Center offers special group rates. Our seventy nine acre facility provides amply room for picnics, volleyball and hiking. Two shelter house are located on the grounds.

Planning a group retreat can by frustrating and time consuming. We want to help you simplify the process. Our staff members are here to help plan and organize your next group outing. We also want to reward you for hard work. Reserve a group for more than six canoes and get a free Kozi. More than 12 canoes receive a free t-shirt and a Kozi.

*Note:* Group rates are based on two adults per canoe. Additional charge applies for third adult. No charge for children under ten. Special rates given to large groups!

To qualify for group rates the leader must and make a 50% deposit at the time of reservation. Deposit can be paid by cash, check, or credit. Full payment is expected at least 7 days in advance. If you cancel with in the seven days there will be no refund. Instead you will be issued a rain check for future trips. If numbers are not adjusted within seven days of trip date a rain check will be granted for unused boats. Reservations are not confirmed until deposit is received. If we cancel due to weather and water conditions you a rain check will be issued.

Canoeing Adventures 2010
A professional canoeing instructor will teach your students the basic skills they need to safely enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and rafting. The adventure begins with a safety lecture that will properly describe paddling techniques, lifejacket wear, and river trip equipment. Once the lecture has been prescribed we will embark to the river and practice our newly learned paddling techniques. Students will effectively learn how to navigate three specific watercrafts: canoe, kayaks, and rafts. The overall goal of Canoeing Adventures is two fold, to create an proficient understanding of paddling methods and to create environmental awareness through safe and fun river recreation. This program is ideal for youth groups, clubs, and organizations. It is a great opportunity to teach students river techniques and at the same time develops respect for the natural outdoors.
