The evening begins with a scenic two hour canoe trip guided by a full moon and concludes with live music around a roaring fire. Plan to depart at sunset while the full moon casts its light over the natural landscape. As the wildlife settles in for the night, prepare to kick back for a relaxing two hour 5 mile canoe ride. Drift down the Hocking River in the black of night, with only a mounted torch to light your way! The dancing flames create a surreal scene as trees glow, golden eyes glint in the underbrush and the water’s ripples become liquid gold. (There is a Crescent Waxing moon and we give you a tiki torch to help light the way).The fun does not stop upon conclusion of the river trip; live entertainment is scheduled following the paddle. Previous acts include local musicians Casey Redman, Chris Wright and DJ Larry Glenn. Prepare for an ol fashion marshmellow roast following the canoe trip.
