River Trips & Tours

in Hocking Hills

Our river trips run on a scenic section of the Hocking River, starting at our Rivers Edge Campground, and all trips conclude at the Canoe Livery. This 7-mile stretch of river is known for its natural beauty and secluded isolation as well as the opportunity to see the Natural Rockbridge and remnants of the old Hocking Canal.  To view the Natural Rockbridge when you launch at Trip 2, paddle across the river, pull your boat up on shore and take a very short hike to view this Natural Beauty.  It is a shorter distance than going thru the parking lot entrance.

What better way to start off your kayak or canoe river trip than viewing the awesome Natural Rockbridge? Our river access is directly across from the magnificent Natural Rockbridge.  After launching your boat you just paddle across the river, pull your boat up on shore and take the short hike to the Natural Rockbridge.  The Rockbridge is not visible from the river but it is only a short hike.
