Looking for some great activities while in the Hocking Hills? For many, simply observing the surrounding beauty is special enough. But there's much more to do in the Hocking Hills. Our feature event is Moonlight and Torchlight tours. We celebrate the seasons with parties, concerts, night trips and give back to the community through Canoe for the Cure and River Clean ups. Night time canoeing is a unique experience. The Hocking River is calm and peaceful before the night fall. Paddle the Hocking River as it quietly settles in for the night. The full moon shines bright to lead the way; but do not only use your sense of sight. Let your other senses guide as you will find something surreal about the water, the trees and the surrounding wildlife.

Friends of the Hocking River has planned two River Cleans for the 2015 season! Clean ups starts at 8am and we provide canoes, gloves and trash bags for this events. We welcome all volunteers looking to make a difference in the area's watershed. More Info On River Cleans Ups

 

Haunted Houses can be scary and corn mazes can be fun but nothing compares to the thrill of Halloween on the Hocking. On the river there is no where to hide from whoever or whatever is lurking behind the bend. Once in the canoe there is no turning back. The few that survive can further test their bravery on the haunted hay ride through the campground.... if they dare..
